Hi all

I've uploaded my second installment - i've been meaning to upload it for ages but have had little time to muck around with the internet of recent as i'm busy at work, with band and social life!! :-) It was a song recorded at Perth College in 2003 which I wrote, and with the help of fellow students it was recorded in the Perth studios. It could be better guitar wise (but it's not too bad!!!), but there wasn't an experienced guitarist around that day of recording so i had to draft in a bassist to play guitar!! There will be opportunities to re-record this song along with many others in the near future so watch this space :-)

Take care all

Just a huge thanks from the bottom of my heart to the people who played my song - I didn't think it would get so far but there you go. If you hadn't played the song, it would never have reached the No 1 song, and also thanks to my personal friends, all my wonderful colleagues at work, my family and the my My Space friends and bands (especially on here!) for their input. I applaud you all. Special thanks to Tom and Julie for promoting me on My Space too - and bulleting their friends.

Love and light to each and all!

I hope you are all enjoying this site so far, I am glad to have found it. There are so many talented acts i've heard so far! To briefly explain my uploads, Long Cold Night was a song I started to write about the homeless situation in Glasgow. However, the next day before i could complete the lyrics, September 11th attacks occured and the song is therefore about loved ones who are never coming home, regardless of the homeless situation, or in the worst circumstances, death. I'm really proud of the song. It was originally penned as an acoustic ballad, but progressed to rock, I let the musicians on the song create their own input. I didn't intend on having a saxophone throughout the song, but Julian loved the song so much when he heard it that he jammed with me in the rehearsal studio that day, and his input to the song just adds that feeling of loneliness, which is what the song is really about!!

I hope the folks on here will like it as much as everyone else does on My Space, i've had good feedback so far, so feel free to comment me - good or bad!!! If comments are constructive, then that helps me :-)

Take care all and have a grand week

Linda
